Since 1998, Dr. Julie Meyer MBE has built the Entrepreneurs Backing Entrepreneurs Financing Model for Innovation and Investment out of Europe.
The Founder of First Tuesday, which many credit with igniting the Internet generation in Europe in September 1998, Meyer has built businesses, investment platforms and destinations for collaboration in order to help Entrepreneurs and Fund Entrepreneurs scale their firms and funds and become category-defining, profitable and successful entities.
She and her colleagues and co-investors have a firm believe that the Entrepreneur is Society’s Problem Solver, and that Society Works Best When It’s Based Around the Entrepreneur.™
From the Four Seasons Hampshire in the UK in 2010, through to Malta in 2017, Dubrovnik in 2018, Taormina in 2019 and from 2020 onwards, in Zurich, Switzerland and Athens & Kea, Greece, the FTE® Capital Markets (Follow the Entrepreneur – FTE) has expanded to include Industrialists, Business Leaders, Innovators, Financiers and Operators from around the world who seek to scale platforms, companies and funds through the connectivity of the community.

At the FTE Summits, the Partners of ECO2 are able to meet the target investment opportunities personally, and the CEO’s of the target investment opportunities are able to present to the Limited Partners and the Investment Committee of ECO2.
III. EcosystemEconomics®
The EcosystemEconomics® Investment Strategy and Playbook has been developed by Dr. Meyer from the her work through her venture capital funds and their portfolio companies as well as through synthesizing the megatrends and macro-economics at play in how companies scale over the past 20 years. She was given an Honorary Doctorate for her work. She has integrated the work of Ronald Coasce, Carlotta Perez, Hernando de Soto, and Chan Kim & Renee Mauborgne into a series of Executive Education Courses which the EcosystemEconomics® Association of which she is a Board Director has developed.
