How to Get There: We recommend coming into St Moritz from Milan on The Bernina Express is a scenic railway route that connects Italy (Milan/Tirano) to Switzerland (St. Moritz), crossing the Alps via the Bernina Pass. It’s renowned for being one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The train journey to Tirano is itself quite picturesque, passing through the Lombardy region’s beautiful landscapes. Once in Tirano, you’ll transfer to the Bernina Express for the mountain crossing to St. Moritz.
